The Van Cortlandt Jewish Center invites you to a free lecturein remembrance of Kristallnacht, the Night ofBroken Glass.
On November 9–10, 1938, Nazi mobs in Germany destroyed Jewish homes,businesses, and synagogues — shattering glass that littered the streets andmarking the beginning of a dark chapter in history.
This year’s lecture, titled “The Causes and Effectson the Jews of Germany,” will be presented by LarryHartstein. Larry has been giving lectures at Van Cortlandt Jewish Center over the years on many different historical events, always getting high reviews.
The lecture is open to people of all faithsand will take place on Sunday, November 9th at 10:30 AM,with light refreshments served beforehand.
