Bereishis 32:8 יִּירָא יַעֲקֹב מְאֹד
1) Yaakov feared meeting Eisav, שׂמא יגרום החטא, perhaps he had sinned and forefeited Hashem's promise of protection. What חטא did righteous Yaakov think he would be punished for?
2) R' M. Gifter z'l answers by sharing an alternate definition of "חטא."
3) We dont know the reward for specific mitzvos.
4) Rambam explains that everyone needs to do at least one mitzvah fully because of love of Hashem, without personal interest, to merit Olam Habah.
