Maternity Leave Position: Full or Part time Social Worker at SINAI TABC

Job Description

SINAI Schools is seeking a school Social Worker for young men with special needs, ranging from ages 18-21, for the SINAI campus at Torah Academy of Bergen County in Teaneck, NJ. The ideal candidate will be a licensed social worker, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience with young adults.

This position is a maternity leave replacement, available as a full-time or part-time role, starting 4/13/2026 through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities

* Oversee the social and emotional development of our students
* Meet with students individually as well as in groups
* Collaborate with teachers to identify social/emotional skills and strategies to be targeted throughout the day
* Support and partner with parents in generalizing of plans and skills at home
* Collaborate with physicians and mental health professionals working with students outside of school

Qualifications

* MSW or LCSW required
* 3-5 years of experience, preferably within a special education setting
