It doesn't take much time to change "We help families" to "You're feeding
47 families this month."
Nothing else about this particular organization would change -- it would be
the same program, same budget, same coffee machine, etc.
But with a change like that on a fundraising campaign page, you can expect
donations to explode. Maybe double. Maybe more.
Words matter. A lot.
The difference between "we need support" and "you're making this happen" is
the difference between someone closing the tab and someone becoming your
biggest supporter.
